This video explains how to prune tall trees, such as those often found in Europe, in the Japanese style. Explanation by Rachi Juen, a Japanese gardening company with a history of over 50 years. English and Japanese subtitles
This video explains how to use the Japanese art of sukashi sentei on tall trees such as those often found in Europe. Sukashi sentei is not just about reducing the overall size of the tree, it focusses on pruning the tree while maintaining its natural, beautiful shape, ensuring that sunlight penetrates the whole tree evenly. Additionally, this method has the benefit of protecting the tree from strong winds. Furthermore, we exhibit our sukashi sentei abroad and have recieved praise from customers that our techniques are like “ninja magic”; we will explain these traditional and inspiring techniques in both illustrated and video format.
