The highly formalised pine tree is revered in Japan as a symbol of good luck. This is a beginner-friendly teaching video that will clearly explain how to perform sentei well with the aim of protecting the beautiful, natural shape of the pine.

- Point 2: Cut the fatter branches while leaving the thinner ones behind.
- Point 3: Cut to make sure that sunlight can reach all parts of the tree.
